LifeView’s SkyChat instant VOIP box allows users to connect their home phone to both Skype and a regular phone line and opens up a world of functionality by combining the two. At its basic level, SkyChat allows any home phone to place and receive phone calls on a regular phone line as well as through Skype. This makes it easy to save money on long distance and international calls while being able to call local numbers normally. Users can also take advantage of call waiting, call on hold, 3-way calling/conference calling between both standard phone lines and Skype, call forwarding, call recording, and even caller ID.
